Product Description
The Davey XJ70 is a single stage jet water transfer pump designed for domestic irrigation from shallow wells and sand spears. It is also suitable for overhead tank filling, high tank filling, pressure boosting and general clean water transfer applications.
The pump features a single stage jet-assisted centrifugal design with a closed vane glass-filled polycarbonate impeller, corrosion-resistant glass-filled Noryl casing and brass pump shaft sleeve. Its internal jet and venturi assembly supports suction lift performance, while the built-in check valve assists with maintaining prime during operation.
The XJ70 uses a Davey-manufactured two-pole TEFC motor with IP55 enclosure protection, Class F insulation and built-in automatically resetting thermal overload protection. The motor and pump are designed for frequent starts, with double-contact C3-HTG sealed bearings and a permanently split capacitor design. It is supplied with a 2 metre power lead and Australian three-pin plug.
The pump operates on 220–240V single-phase power at 50Hz, with 0.8kW output power and 1.15kW input power. It delivers flows up to 70 L/min and a maximum total head of 48 metres, with a maximum suction lift of 7 metres. The pump features a 25mm (1") female BSP inlet and 25mm (1") female BSP outlet.
