Product Description
The Davey DC10A is a compact double-cased submersible dewatering sump pump suited for sump emptying, emergency flood relief, water transfer, partially submerged applications and suitable domestic fountains or waterfalls.
It is fitted with a preset-length float switch for automatic operation, turning the pump on as the water level rises and off again once the water has been pumped down. The pump delivers up to 80 litres per minute with a maximum total head of 6 metres, maximum submergence of 10 metres and maximum operating water temperature of 50°C.
The open-impeller, semi-vortex design allows the DC10A to handle clean water of neutral pH containing up to 10% small, soft organic solids less than 4mm in diameter while helping reduce susceptibility to blockage. Its double-case construction directs discharge water past the motor shell for improved cooling, while the silicon carbide/ceramic mechanical seal, 304 stainless steel components and automatic thermal overload provide additional durability and motor protection.
The pump is supplied with a 10 metre H07RN-F oil-resistant lead and 3-pin power plug for connection to a standard 240V single-phase power supply.
Important: Not suitable for abrasive materials such as sand or grit, fish ponds or aquaculture, or swimming pools and spas where people may be in the water while the pump is operating.
